Tsuen Wan is 25 min by MTR from Central. Exit B1. Walk 5 min and you will find Minibus 81. Take it and ride till its final stop. There you will find Yuen Yuen Institute which is part of a huge cluster of Buddhist temples.

It is not that big but an interesting place with multiple levels and quiet corners where you can sit, relax and analyze yourself.

When you are done, walk down the road, less then hundred steps and you will be impressed.

Western Monastery. Very hard to find any reference about it. Looks like it simply doesn’t exist according to travels guides.

It is big! It is beautiful! There you will find small gardens, Banzai trees, sculptures and turtles, lots of them. Look up!

Not sure how much time you will need there but after you done, do not take a bus or taxi, just walk.

Who knows what you may find on your way?

Tiny request, be kind and buy bottle or two of water or other drink from tiny shops near by, they not gone charge you more than 7-Eleven.
