3:30 Alarm is screaming – Wakeup! Wakeup!

Backpack with camera gear is ready and waiting.

4:00 After mixing absolutely terrible coffee I jump into car.

2 hrs drive. Freeway is really FREE. No cars what’s so ever.

6:10 Arriving to starting point. It is absolutely dark. Warning sign says – Be aware of Bears and Snakes.

6:20 Changing shoes to hiking one and hitting a trail.

Two and half miles hike. Not easy one considering I have to arrive there before sunise. Another, never ending competition with a Sun. This time, I won! Fire tower was waiting for me.

Few more minutes and magic starts …

View from top of the world is breathtaking. 360 degrees of absolute magic and changes every minute as sun goes up and up.

After walking down few more steps and there are overlook. Luckily enough – there are no wind. So I can sit down and enjoy a view sipping hot coffee from thermos.

On the way back there are ruins of some mansion. Even now you can still admire magnificence of place.

Next to the parking lot you can find small Buddhist monastery which was closed but Brahma path is open. Path leads to small and charming pond.

Another two hours of drive and I am back home ….
