Montreal. Just few hours of driving from NYC and you are in Europe 🙂 Not really but close. Very close.
Food. People. Quebec is something special. Still Canada but different. What’s truly amazing, you can find a good taste of Asian culture here. Botanical Gardens , which are next to Olympic stadium hides a true gem. A wonderful Chinese and Japanese Gardens. They are not big but well deserve your attention.
After living in Hiong Kong, it is little bit unusual for me to see Chinese Gardens in full snow and this is why I am coming back every time when I visit Montreal.
Japanese garden typically closed during winter but what surrounds it still worth to see.
Especially during heavy snow fall. It is breath taking..
Barden is full of charming places which are still colorful even during winter.
While you will be walking around, look up, to the trees and you will so much life there.
