Deindustrialization. It is very scary word. Usually it is result of war, disaster but not here, not in USA. It is all man made, self-inflicted wound.

Plant, which produced steel for almost all famous bridges in US such as Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge in New York City, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, and the Waldorf Astoria hotel are build using steel from this plant.

Now it is just a dark shadow of it previous glory. Keep rusting on public view. Where are all these skilled, hardworking people who possessed will, strength, energy to make once best construction steel in a world? Perhaps a strange question from immigrant to ask. All what we can see remains of former industrial power in shape of giant machinery, which resembles sleeping giant.

These factory buildings, standing as grave stones on cemetery of industrial capabilities of country. Very sad picture actually.

And these trains going to nowhere anymore …
